On Friday, August 26th, 2022, PT. GIH welcomed two distinguished guests to their office located in Panbil Industrial Estate, B3 Lot 3 Muka Kuning Batam. The visitors were the rector of ITEBA, Prof. Dr-Ing. Ir. H. Hairul Abral, and the dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Dr. Eng. Ansarullah Lawi, M.Eng. The purpose of their visit was to follow up on the discussion of further cooperation between ITEBA and GIH.

One of the immediate plans of this cooperation is to hold the MBKM program and an Engineering Innovation Competition among campuses in Batam. The competition aims to encourage innovative product ideas that can be developed into market-ready products. The competition is a great opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in the field of technology and engineering, and for GIH to scout for talented students to join their team in the future.

In addition, ITEBA students have already participated in an internship program at GIH as part of their cooperation. PT. GIH's President Director, Phuspitaa Naaidu Ramloo, expressed his hope that more ITEBA students would participate in the internship program in the future. According to him, ITEBA students possess valuable skills that are highly sought after in the industry.

During the visit, the ITEBA delegation was given a tour of GIH's production floor to see the machines and facilities firsthand. Prof. Hairul was impressed with the company's facilities, saying "I am amazed at the facilities that GIH has; they are very comprehensive."
